Played as a long par 4 from the open tees and a par 5 from the remainder of the tees, it places an emphasis on evading the many bunkers on the hole and placement of the tee shot and second shot will be critical. Off the tee, the bunkering on the left side of this hole guards the shortest route and best angle to the green. The second shot will need to avoid the bunkers down the right side in order to offer a short pitch into the length of the green.

The green sits up, sandwiched between a group of bunkers and is generally sloped back-to-front. There is a wing on the left of the green that is completely blocked by bunkering and if the hole location is on this back shelf, it will be prudent to lay back and have a wedge into this pin.
