This hole has plenty of length from all of the tees. The shot is over the water in the irrigation dam to a gently contoured fairway.
The shot is demanding as it needs to be long and straight with bunkers on the right and the boundary and a hazard down the left. A tee shot played to the right side of the fairway will provide a better angle and view to the green.
The primary feature on the second shot is a mound that has been placed in the left approach. It purposely obscures the view of the green from this angle and provides difficulty in judging the location and depth perception of the green. The large green is open in front and is very receptive to a running shot.
