14th Hole

This hole is downhill all the way to the green and will suit a hard-running tee shot. Primary decision off the tee is “how far do you want to hit it?”

As the hole pinches down, the closer you get to the green, a nest of bunkers on the left and a grove of trees on the right are responsible for the pinching and will provide a stern penalty. The more prudent play is to stay short of this area off the tee and have a full shot into the green.

The green runs away and to the left, which will require full control of any pitch shots. This slope also furthers the temptation by guiding balls onto the green from the approach if you should be lured into trying to drive the green.
